When the original <Death Twins> decided to leave Emerald Dream and go to another server back in 2007, this is the thread posted on the ED Forums. Saved here so we can remember it.  Enjoy.

Riveira emptied her third glass of wine setting it down heavily on the worn wooden table. The Pig and Whistle Tavern in Old Town was still her favourite even though it was, well, old. Many friends to the twins had started spending more and more time in Shattrath City, but Riveira still preferred Stormwind.

She heard the footsteps of her twin sister hurrying through the old tavern doors and across the squeaky floor. She plopped down onto the stool opposite and waved a scroll back in forth in front of Riveira's face. Riveira grabbed it, annoyed. "So what's this you found?"

Excited, her sister said, " Open it!"

The scroll was large, on heavy parchment. She untied a fanciful and important looking piece of ribbon and slowly unrolled it flat onto the table. It was a very official looking document. She scanned over it then gave a confused look at her sister.

"Riveira.... It is a summons. We are to leave now. This very night. It's what we've been waiting for." She reached over and covered her sister's hand with hers seeing the mixed feelings in her eyes. "It's time for us to go."

So, they got up, lifted their packs and walked out. Stormwind was bustling as it was still early evening. They walked past the old buildings and over the bridge to the trade district.

Many of the familiar faces they used to see often in the city were gone, and now it was their turn as well. A new unexplored land awaited. They looked around at the citizens and adventurers going about their business. Riviera, wiped a tear from her cheek as they passed the center square.

They walked out to the main gate and gave a final salute to General Marcus Jonathan, mounted up and rode away for the last time. Azeroth, you will be missed.

Indeed, despite being Night Elf rogues I did/do respect these two I damn near %%!* myself first self when they killed me then I remember laughing my ass off when I figured out where my pride was... smeared across the floor.

I really hated you two, I don't know why, it might have been the whole, being and elf thing, it might have been the whole, look-a-like thing, or it might have been the whole, stalking all my damn alts across different zones and camping them for hours on end thing.

But I respected you two for playing the game like no one else ever had, and for obviously having fun doing so.

Level 80 - Mount Hyjal

Having fun exploring, questing, pvp'ing.

A powerful mage named Permelia has hired us to get information about some book out of a girl named Tarletia. The girl  had nothing to tell us but we did find her diary. Unfortunately, the diary had nothing of importance in it. So, we killed the girl. Done.

Borean Tundra for Level 70

After nearly a year hiatus, the return!

DING! Level 60.  Our goal was to get to 60 before Cataclysm came out and we did it with a week to spare.  Now we will do dungeons and battlegrounds with some questing thrown inbetween until we make it all the way to 80.
To celebrate we went shopping and acquired some upgrades.  Then I presented my sister with a new rocket for us to fly around in!!  She likes sitting on the back.

Levels 40-50

The world keeps shaking. The quakes come more and more often.  And now there are random elemental attacks in our cities and lands.  We don't know what is happening but it can't be good.

Even though something bad is happening in the world, today we made a renewed commitment to stay the course and level up, however it is getting tedious. At level 80 the real fun begins though. Our gear is starting to get a bit stale so we are looking for upgrades all the time.

We have ventured into new dungeons now: Sunken Temple, Mauradon, Blackrock.

And of course, some world PvP.

The good ol' days.

Tense, Nervous, EXCITED

The servers have just gone down for a 12 hour major patch. We have said goodbye to our well thought out talent tree and (shadow) stepped into the unknown.

I feel confident we can use the new system to create what we want although I think Sis is a bit concerned, although knowing her as I do, she will have hundreds of options thought out ready to overwhelm me with :-)

Levels 30-40

Time flys now.  The jungle is our favorite place now but we have also traveled to Arathi Highlands, Alterac Mountains, the Scarlet Monestary, Desolace, and Stonetalon Mountains.  PvP gear has all been upgraded but, damnit, still no descent helm!

We won't mention the very very terrible event that happened to Rivíera yesterday!

Someone called us the twins of death.  Hehehehe.. I liked that.

Level 1-30

The dark world of the horde isn't quite so grim to the twins now. We have come to accept our fate. We made our home in the Undercity during most of this time of growth. We made gold to support ourselves by selling ore and herbs.  We killed creatures that got in our way as we explored Silverpine Forest, Hillsbrad Foothills, and Thousand Needles.
Along the way we encountered a few Alliance. Our passion for revenge was overwhelming and they died to our blades:

Kaihin our very first kill.
Aeros   Alleune   Angelababy   Anvilbeard   Bellisimo   Depapes   Discover   Elamnon   Gagde   Hawtdawg   Icausecancer (killed just because his name was so awful)   Krul   Prajapati   Santaclawz   Serviette   Synassa   Tydurden   and Wilona.

We were defeated by 3 lvl 80s - Duskhallow (Elamnon's main), Nulka, and Scardpath.

Next the twins will move forward to the jungles of Stranglethorn Vale!
